Ir Francis Ng completed the bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and master degree in environmental engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.  He has around 10 years of experience on design, operation and maintenance of the sewage treatment and flood protection facilities. Besides, Ir Ng has extensive experience in the regulatory work on gas safety and mechanical safety in the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department.  During his secretariat attachment at the Development Bureau, he oversaw the water supply policies and associated infrastructure development, and took part in the legislative amendment.  As a Chief Engineer in Drainage Services Department, Ir Ng motivates his team to embrace innovation and technology and better prepare to adapt to future challenges, and deliver the best service to the community.
